Madrid, Spain (8th May, 2013) – Dream Glass Group, specialists in DreamGlass® privacy glass, has fitted their smart glass at the Fairmont Baku hotel, part of the famous Flame Towers complex in Baku, Azerbaijan.
DreamGlass® Privacy Glass was installed in every room of the hotel (110 in total), and allows the bedroom and bathroom to be separated at the flick of a wall switch; once activated, the smart glass becomes reflective, offering complete privacy. The DreamGlass® will also allow abundant light to disperse into both the bathroom and bedroom, creating a feeling of more space.
The contract was awarded after the hotel’s architect firm contacted Dream Glass Group, with full installation completed in just two weeks. The Flame Towers consists of three towers located on a retail podium: the tower on the west side houses commercial offices, while the Fairmont hotel is based in the northern corner and the southern tower is a residential complex. Giant screens coating the towers’ exterior display images of moving flames, visible right across Baku.
