Melbourne – the independent server hosting provider – is taking on the likes of James Cameron and Pixar, after creating the world’s first 3D tour of its Manchester-based datacentres.
The video will have its ‘world premiere’ at Manchester Central’s Business North West exhibition on 17 – 18 April. It has been created to provide would-be customers with the inside track on Melbourne’s extensive facilities.
Managing director, Daniel Keighron-Foster, said: “At Melbourne, we pride ourselves on not being your ‘typical’ server hosting provider, so we relished the chance of bringing the business to life though 3D film.
“There’s no better way to get a feel for our services and ethical way of working than to experience it first-hand, which is why our door is always open and why we love showing people around our facilities. Now, potential customers can get a flavour of Melbourne’s services,
without having to leave the comfort of their desks. This film answers all the questions people might have about creating a secure, high quality network, while having fun at the same time.”
Created by Manchester-based writer and director Dennis Keighron-Foster, the film was produced by Ian Sandall. Visitors to Business North West can watch the film at Stand 56 (3D glasses will be provided); alternatively, you can watch it online at http://www.melbourne.co.uk/ .
