Employee surveys are a significant investment that costs both time and money, but they can deliver sustainable value when the employer makes a visible effort to listen and engage to the survey’s results. 75% of the FTSE 100 run employee surveys to listen to employee opinions and act on them to maintain their engagement; they are an effective management tool that can make a real difference in any sized company.
However, People Insight recently researched employee belief in the surveys taking place in their workplace and found that only 50% of employees believe that their employer will respond to the survey’s findings. Therefore, more than half of employees asked felt that their opinion is most likely not valued within their workplace.
