Click Consult Release Recommendations For Switching to Google Enhanced Campaigns

Cheshire, United Kingdom (20th February 2013). Leading UK-based internet marketing company, Click Consult, have released some recommendations for Pay Per Click Campaign Managers in relation to the new Google Enhanced Campaigns, after commencing the switchover process for their entire client base.

Google announced the roll out of Enhanced Campaigns on 6th February 2013, with all standard AdWords PPC campaigns required to switch across by the end of June 2013. There are several notable differences between the two campaign types, with one major focus being on specific device targeting changes under the new Enhanced Campaigns. Click Consult began the process of starting to move their clients’ AdWords campaigns across straight away and have now published a first review of their findings on the new system so far, for the information of those PPC managers who are yet to start the migration.

Click Consult recommend that campaigns can reap multiple benefits earlier by making the change now, rather than waiting until closer to the deadline at the close of Q2 2013. Click Consult have outlined some of the new features and benefits available now when using Enhanced Campaigns in a blog post, including the ability to view long-awaited reporting data for individual Sitelinks and greater functionality for geo-specific bid targeting.

“There has already been much discussion online about Google’s Enhanced Campaigns and there are some quite significant changes to standard campaigns, which may be putting people off from jumping in early. However, we think the danger is that many AdWords campaign managers could be missing out on utilising some of the great new features and benefits now by waiting until the last minute to switch” said Marc Spear, PPC Campaign Manager at Click Consult. “This new update has the potential to not only give greater reporting detail, but also allows us to  implement a bidding strategy that better  reflects the physical store or showroom locations of our clients which is why we’re choosing to switch as soon as possible.”
