Haven Devon Cliffs is one of Haven Holidays most popular sites with many returning year after year
Haven Devon Cliffs is one of the older sites in the Haven portfolio. They run 34 caravan sites across the world, with the majority of them being located in the UK. However, the fact that this is one of the older sites should not put you off of going there.
The firm has invested over £12 million making over the park. Today it is a fantastic modern holiday park, which offers a huge range of amenities. However, despite the modern amenities the main reason people return year after year is the park’s fantastic sea views. The site is located on a cliff top that slopes slightly. This means that many of the sites caravans and holiday homes have a full panoramic view of the sea. People love sitting outside enjoying lunch with such a idyllic view.
Most families that stay there spend at least some of their time on the beach. Haven are keen to ensure that families have access to good amenities on the beach as well as on the site. Therefore, in 2012, they opened their South Beach Cafe. It has breathtaking views of the Jurassic coastline and provides a relaxed and informal environment for families to eat and drink.
The menu is based around local products, so fish features heavily. Some of the fish is caught just off the coast at Brixham and Lyme Bay.
Their burgers are made from cows farmed only a few miles away. They also sell ice cream from Potter Valley dairy farm, which is also nearby.
Haven Devon Cliffs not standing still
Haven Family Holidays know that to compete with foreign resorts they need to continually up their game. Therefore, as a company they are continuously updating their sites and offering new amenities and activities for their holidaymakers to enjoy. Increasingly, these activities are action related. This encourages families to stay fit and enjoy new sports and activities together. However, for rainy days their sites have indoor pools, sports amenities and spas.
