Haven Holidays are one of the UK’s most popular holiday firms. The brand was born out of a company called British Holidays who owned several traditional holiday camps throughout the UK. Today, there are 35 holiday parks available for holidaymakers to enjoy.
The firm has a well-deserved reputation for offering fantastic quality holidays at great prices. They have worked hard, over the years, to keep their sites up to date and offer a huge range of entertainment options. Yet, one thing they are not known particularly well for is their food.
However, Haven actually has a lot of high quality food outlets on their sites. They know that when people are on holiday they do not want to cook every day. Even if they are staying in self-catering accommodation, they still really appreciate the chance to eat out or get a takeaway. Therefore, Haven has worked hard to make sure that each site offers a range of meal options. They provide supermarkets for those that do want to eat in, which stock a good range of ingredients and ready meals. In addition, each site has at least one restaurant; a takeaway and most also offer good quality bar food.
Now holidaymakers can even book a half board holiday with the firm. Their Craig Tara is the first of their sites to do so. On this site families can enjoy an all you can eat breakfast each morning in the holiday park’s restaurant. In the evening, they get a full meal and can choose from a wide selection of dishes. It is an idea that has been an immediate success.
Haven Holidays also step up their accommodation offering
Each Haven Family Holidays site offers a range of accommodation including caravans. In recent years the firm has built more chalet and bungalow accommodation and improved the standard of their static caravans. They now offer a range of styles and classes of accommodation. Everything from standard homes that have all you need without many thrills to luxury homes. Their deluxe homes include extras like designer furniture and extra electronics such as DVD. They want to ensure that people can get a standard of accommodation that is as good, and in many cases, superior to that offered by local hotels.
