Designed for the faster trail runner, the Wave Ascend 8, updated in a lime green colourway,offers added protection for trail runners. The shoe can be worn from door-to-trail, and incorporates technologies designed to offer comfort on the road as well as grip on the trail.
The eighth upgrade in the Ascend series, this shoe is suitable for trail runners looking for cushioning, grip, stability, and speed.
The Wave Ascend 8’s mesh upper makes the shoe lightweight, a characteristic of all Wave shoes, and features forefoot Dynamotion Fit™ X-straps for multi-directional lateral control and support. This is in addition to ‘under welding’ straps for a secure fit on unstable ground, andX-Lugs in the sole to deliver grip and support on uneven surfaces – but with no added weight.
Like its predecessor, the new Wave Ascend 8 incorporates Mizuno’s AP+™ midsole foam which aims to providerunners with more cushioning and support.
The shoe is designed to offer the wearer apt support without compromising flexibility, incorporating an asymmetrical lacing design to contour the shape of the foot.
