PHC Law recently helped one of their clients receive £60,000 compensation for a road traffic accident which resulted in serious injuries. The accident happened whilst the claimant was on his way to work in June 2009. He worked as a gardener and was knocked off his bicycle by the Defendant’s vehicle as he cycled to work. As a result, the man suffered a serious injury to his right elbow, together with a fracture of the right big toe and various other minor injuries which prolonged psychological sequences.
The claimant underwent therapy through the insurers’ rehabilitation company and interim payments were made. Expert medical evidence was obtained and the Defendant’s insurers admitted liability.
