Norfolk, United Kingdom (2nd July 2012) – Recognising its responsibility to support charitable organisations, Source Wood Floors has donated a range of products to a badger reserve in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
As part of a collaborative effort with supply chain partner Pro Fit Mouldings, Source Wood Floors donated the products to the Wakefield District Badger Group after being contacted by its secretary. The products are being used to develop an on-site operations base.
The Wakefield District Badger Group is a registered charity which has been in existence since 1992. The primary aim of the group is the protection and conservation of badgers.
Run by enthusiastic volunteers, it supports Wakefield Council’s Countryside Service, the RSPCA, West Yorkshire Police and the Badger Trust among others. But like many charities it relies on the generosity of companies and individuals to stay in existence.

“Our site incorporates various functions which includes workshop and storage facilities to protect and maintain our conservation equipment. The items, donated by Source Wood Floors, are being used to develop an on-site operations base to cover issues around planning, logistics and education.”
