Winkworth were proud to sponsor this year’s Kew the Music festival, which featured headliners Status Quo and various other prolific acts including M People, Chic, and The Gipsy Kings. Other artists taking to the stage during the week included Will Young, James Morrison and Nerina Pallot.
The unfortunate weather did not deter any of the festival’s dedicated fans, with approximately 35,000 people attending the event over six nights. The show closed on Sunday 9 July to a full audience, despite the heavy downpour.
At the event, Winkworth established a pop-up Champagne Garden in association with Moët & Chandon. Here, concert-goers were invited to relax with a glass of champagne and enjoy the show.

Based on an ‘English country garden’ theme, we in the marketing department had so much fun planning and implementing the garden down to the smallest detail – and it paid off. Every night, the garden was packed from the moment we opened, until the concerts ended.
“Winkworth directors and office staff manned the gardens, volunteering their own time to ensure all guests were comfortable and enjoying themselves – even providing impromptu entertainment between acts! It was a great way to get to get out of the office and show the more relaxed side of our business.”
